Taylor’s story

“Just knowing that I felt supported—[it] will help another woman feel like they’re supported, as well.”
When I found out I was pregnant, I thought my life was over. Abortion was a consideration for me. I was in my junior year of college, so I was in the job hunt and looking at moving out of my parents’ [house] and starting my own journey.
I found CPC through Google. I wanted something that was safe [and] low key, and somewhere that I could talk and not feel like I was getting judged.
When I walked through the door, it was very welcoming. I decided to carry [my daughter] to term when I got my first ultrasound done at CPC. And speaking with a patient advocate—being able to talk out what I was going through—sealed the deal for me. After I left, I was like, I can do this.
I went through the Great Expectations Parenting Classes. CPC helped me dig deep into my core values about who I am as a person, and I’m able to take that into parenthood and be a good mom, as well.
Giving back to a clinic like CPC will honestly make a difference. Just knowing that I felt supported—[it] will help another woman feel like they’re supported, as well.
