‘Being a mom has transformed me’

‘Being a mom has transformed me’

Briana’s Story

“I discovered I was pregnant on December 24 of 2024. It was a complete shock to me and my partner. I was overwhelmed with conflicting emotions and couldn’t fathom bringing a baby into the world amidst the numerous stressors in my life. I had had an abortion in the past, so while I had wanted my baby and knew abortion was an option, I couldn’t shake the thought of it.

My best friend, whom I consider a sister, encouraged me to visit CPC’s pregnancy medical clinics for a consultation and an ultrasound. At that point, I was strongly considering abortion.

Upon arriving at the Greenbrier location, I was warmly welcomed by the staff, who made me feel comfortable and safe, which I desperately needed at the time. I sat down and spoke with my advocate, Autumn, who listened attentively to my life circumstances and guided me through all my options.

What truly resonated with me was the unwavering support she offered me. I genuinely believe that without Autumn’s guidance, my baby boy wouldn’t be here today.

When the nurse performed my ultrasound, I was instantly captivated by the tiny heartbeat on the screen. My baby was the size of a gummy bear and approximately six weeks old. Tears welled up in my eyes, and I knew without a doubt that I was keeping my baby.

CPC’s pregnancy medical clinics transformed my life right then and there. I began attending the parenting classes, where I formed deep friendships, gained extensive knowledge about babies, and received numerous gifts. The invaluable information they provided was truly crucial. These classes also helped me strengthen my relationship with God, for which I am profoundly grateful.

Being a mom has transformed me in countless positive ways. My baby has taught me an unparalleled love that I’ve never experienced before. Witnessing his growth is an incredible gift.

To anyone considering donating to CPC, please know that your contribution will significantly impact the lives of mothers and future mothers for the better. I am eternally grateful to the compassionate individuals at CPC’s pregnancy medical clinics. I aspire to give back to them even a fraction of what they have given to me.”
